On a national and international level, environmental challenges are seen as one of the most challenging threats to the Lebanese government. Despite the various difficulties Lebanon is experiencing, LAND carried on a wide range of environmental sector initiatives.

LAND’s environmental operations included raising public awareness about water scarcity, solid waste management, and sustainable water management practices. LAND also tackled the issue of deforestation by planting trees, promoting environmental awareness, and supporting all natural reserves to prevent the extinction of Lebanese biodiversity.
