The development sector refers to diverse sustainable initiatives that aim to promote economic growth, reduce poverty, enhance capacity building, and improve the quality life of people. LAND supports women empowerment, and social cohesion in its area of interest through diverse sports, touristic and cultural activities. LAND designed various activities to promote social equity and opportunity, while in parallel aiming to improve the quality of life of individuals and communities in need.
These include emotional, mental, social, and financial support for children and elder, as for instance, 320 social financial aids were offered to vulnerable populations. Financial support is also being offered to social clubs to encourage and sustain their activity in the area of Bekaa.
Following the earthquakes emergencies, LAND raised awareness on methods to adapt to possible natural disasters through informative workshops. Despite the repercussions of the economic crises, LAND was privileged to spread feelings of joy, support, and happiness among a great number of children in Lebanon, especially in Bekaa.
